Jujutsu – Self Defense Ann Arbor Martial Arts Training

At Japanese Martial Arts Center, self-defense for women and men goes beyond learning simple and common punching and kicking techniques. Learning the various strikes and throws is one thing, but getting into a mindset is another game entirely.

Nihon Jujutsu allows you to not only learn traditional martial arts fighting techniques, but it allows you to train and discipline your mind. Our goal is to train a complete individual not just with the physical stuff but offer an amount of personal development that is essential for any threatening situation.

Remember, it’s not just about knowing what to do in a fight but knowing that a fight isn’t always necessary. The best way to end a conflict is to defuse it before it even begins. Fisticuffs shouldn’t be your first solution – it should be the absolute last resolve when all other avenues for a safe, calm, resolution have been exhausted and there is literally no other option left.
